Howdy partners! At Rustic Cowgirl Sales, we want you to be as happy with your purchase as a cowboy with a perfect-fitting saddle. If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help with our straightforward returns and exchanges process.
Our Return Promise
We stand behind our western gear like a trusty steed. Most unused items in their original condition can be returned or exchanged within 15 days of delivery. Just like breaking in a new saddle, we know sometimes things need adjusting!
Note on Special Items: For the safety of all our cowgirls and cowboys, training aids and women’s accessories (including belts & buckles) cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. Saddles with custom fittings may have different return conditions – please contact us before ordering.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps smoother than a barrel racer’s pattern:
- Contact Us: Email [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with your request. Use our handy template below.
- Get Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and an RMA number.
- Pack It Up: Securely package the item(s) with all original tags and packaging. Include a copy of your invoice.
- Ship It Back: Send the package to our Detroit corral using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
Return Shipping Options
Just like choosing your trail, you’ve got options for sending items back:
- Standard Return: Use DHL or FedEx (typically $12.95-$19.95 depending on item size)
- Economy Return: Use USPS Priority Mail (typically $8-$15)
We recommend purchasing tracking and insurance – we can’t be responsible for lost return packages.
Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive the item.
- Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal).
- Deductions: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. A 10% restocking fee may apply to saddles and large items.
Exchange Process
Need a different size or color? Exchanges follow the same process as returns. Just indicate in your email whether you’d like:
- A different size/color of the same item (subject to availability)
- Store credit for future purchases
We’ll ship your exchange as soon as we process your return, with no additional shipping charge if the exchange is of equal or greater value.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your gear arrives damaged or incorrect (heaven forbid!):
- Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue.
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund and provide a prepaid return label if needed.
